In conjunction with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, TEN’s Australia by Design Landscapes will showcase 30 of Australia’s best landscape designs.
The 6 part series features everything from Parks and Open Spaces to Urban Design and Infrastructure to Private Gardens. It uncovers the key ingredients such as how innovative they are, what makes each landscape different and what problems are they trying to solve.
Over each episode we will count down the top 6 landscape statements from 6 to 1 in a featured State. The 6th and final episode, counts down the best top 10 Landscape statements of the year. The ‘top 10’ will be determined in a consultative process between Australia’s leading landscape architects and an expert panel of industry leaders.

Reminiscent of popular shows such as Beyond 2000 and The New Inventors, over 6 episodes Australia By Design: Innovations features ten amazing innovations in each episode, one or more of these innovations are chosen to go through to the 7th and final episode to be featured as the top 10 best and most exciting innovations of the year. It will be up to the shows expert panel of judges to decide which innovation will be declared Australia’s top innovation of the year.
TEN’s Australia by Design Innovation is a brand new television series that aims to bring good design into the hearts and minds of Australians.
